Assumptions: in an up swing, retracement r = high − (high − low) × r and extension e = low + (high − low) × e (mirrored for a down swing). Fibonacci levels are zones of interest, not guaranteed turning points.
How to use
- 1Read the high and low of the last significant swing from your chart (or fill them from the previous day).
- 2Choose the direction: up means price travelled from the low to the high.
- 3Retracements are possible pullback zones; extensions are possible targets if the trend continues.
